About me
Hi, I'm Terri, and a couple of months ago I was overworked and overstretched, working and living in the city.
After years of doing the 'right thing', getting good grades, working hard and moving up the 'ladder', I finally realized that it wasn't working - I realized that this 'dream' that I had fought so hard for, wasn't my dream at all.
So I took a break from my career and made a promise to myself that I would try something completely different and attempt to find another route to what was laid out for me.
That's how I found myself here: smack dab in the middle onowherere, working in Bowron Lake Provincial Park and living in a cabin that's 10 km hike from any civilization with no cell service, no internet, and no electricity.
In the past, this would be my nightmare and, to be honest, I am in over my head, but maybe, in over my head is exactly where I need to be.
